We are committed to ensure that your privacy is protected. We aim to be as open and transparent as possible around the information we collect when you visit and use our Site, including through the use of “Cookies” and other similar tracking technologies (as defined below).

For the avoidance of doubt, wherever the term the “Site” is used in this policy, it shall refer to all digital platforms owned or controlled by YL Ventures, including, without limitation, landing pages, digital forms, social platforms, applications, and any other digital interface operated, managed, or controlled by YL Ventures, unless the context requires otherwise.

1. Introduction

When using our Site and services, we and third parties providing us with services may use industry-standard tracking technologies, known as “Cookies”, Web Beacons, Tags, Pixels, and other monitoring technologies that store certain information on the computer or device through which you access our Site.

2.What are cookies? 

• Cookies typically consist of text files stored locally on your device, for example in your browser or on your mobile device (unless you have blocked their creation in the device and/or browser settings), and they collect relevant information about your activity on the Site, as detailed below. YL Ventures or third parties providing services to YL Ventures may access from time to time the information gathered via cookies, including transferring it to their possession.
• Web Beacons or Pixel Tags are small segments of code embedded within the pages of our Site, advertisements, and/or email communications that we may periodically transmit. These technologies enable us and/or third-party service providers to install cookies on the Site or access existing cookies, to monitor and analyze your usage of the Site and/or your interactions with advertisements and communications (for example, tracking events such as opening an email, clicking on an advertisement, or visiting a page on the Site), to transmit to us and/or to third parties providing us with services data about your activity on the Site in real time, to collect information regarding the preferences of users and visitors to the Site, to track conversions (for example, registration for our services following an advertisement or visit to the Site), and to assess the scope and type of use of the Site, services, and our messages, thereby helping us analyze and improve our content and the ways of distributing it.

Cookies also track your browsing patterns on the Site, including the pages you visited on our Site, the length of time you spent on each page, the dates on which you visited the Site, from which web page or search engine you arrived at the Site, and which actions you performed on the Site (for example, clicks on links or buttons). For the avoidance of doubt, with respect to cookies created or operated by third parties, YL Ventures does not exercise any control over the encryption of data stored therein, nor over access to such data or its cross-referencing with other information maintained in the databases of such third parties.

3. How long will Cookies stay on my device? 

Several Cookies we use are erased from your device immediately after your browser session terminates (“Session Cookies”). We may use these Session Cookies for various purposes, for example, to determine whether the user is located in a country where there are content restrictions, and to determine language preferences while you are visiting the site. 

Other Cookies remain saved on your device, do not expire when you close the browser window and enable us to recognize your device in the event of a later visit to our Site (“Persistent Cookies”). The duration for which these Persistent Cookies remain on your device may change. We may use these cookies to collect various information such as the pages you visited, where you came to the Site from, information you request to see when accessing the Site and more. Persistent Cookies allow us to make our Site more user-friendly, effective and safe and to record your acceptance of our cookie policy detailed herein.

Deleting Cookies from your browser or from your device’s memory will not delete information that has already been transferred to YL Ventures or to authorized third parties through the Cookies, and therefore any deletion or disabling of Cookies will apply to future uses only.

4. Purposes for the use of Cookies on the Site 

We use Cookies for a wide range of business and technical purposes, as follows: 

• Security Cookies: those Cookies are used to prevent fraud, impersonation and unauthorized use of our Site and services, to identify suspicious activity, to protect against cyberattacks and other malicious activities, to verify user details and identity, and to protect your personal information and the integrity of the Site and services.
• Analytical and Performance Cookies: We use these cookies to collect and generate statistical data on our Site usage, including the number of visitors, most popular pages, common browsing patterns, and traffic sources to the Site. This information enables us to better understand the Users’ needs, identify areas for improvement in the Site and services, optimize Site performance, and develop new features and services tailored to market demands. Additionally, we may use this data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, evaluate the success of new features, and make data-driven business decisions. We generally use third party Cookies to perform these services, for example, Google Analytics. 
• Functionality Cookies: these Cookies allow us to operate the Site in accordance with your preferences when browsing or using the Site. For example, such Cookies recall your customization preferences, such as your preferred text size, fonts, languages and other parts of the Site that are alterable. 
• Marketing: these Cookies enable us to display advertisements and marketing content personalized to your profile, preferences, and activity history, including the display of targeted advertisements on third-party platforms (for example, displaying advertisements on Facebook). This includes targeting advertisements to specific audiences based on age, location, interests, and digital behavior, as well as displaying products or services that may interest you based on your previous searches. Third-party cookies that may be embedded in the Site may collect information about your activity on the Site for the purposes of targeted advertising, and the activities of these third parties are also carried out for their own purposes as separate controllers of databases, and are fully subject to their own independent privacy policies and are their sole responsibility (including with respect to cross-referencing the information with additional information from the databases of those third parties). 5. Third party Cookies 

First-party Cookies are Cookies that belong to us and that we place on your device. Third-party Cookies are Cookies that another party, which provides us a service, places on your device through your use of our Site. For example, to administer our Site and for research purposes, we have contracted third-party service providers to track and analyze statistical usage and volume information from our Users and in order to advertise our products and services to you elsewhere on the Internet. 

The Site uses Third-party Cookies services as follows: 

• We use Google Analytics for analyzing traffic and activity on the site and generating statistical information. 
• We use Google Tag Manager for tag management services.
• We may use services of Facebook (Meta) for the purpose of tracking the activity of users who arrive at the Site from social media platforms, in order to segment target audiences and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on social networks.

It is important to note that the list of third parties Cookies is not exhaustive, and by its nature may change from time to time according to our business and technological needs, and YL Ventures is entitled to use Cookies from additional third parties at its discretion, and the updated list will appear in the Cookie banner on the Site. 

These third-party Cookies enable those parties to collect information about your activity on our Site and combine it with information they collect about your activity on other sites across the internet or other information they have about you. It should be noted that the activities of these third parties are also carried out for their own purposes as separate controllers of databases, and are fully subject to their own independent privacy policies and under their sole responsibility. YL Ventures has no control over the manner in which these third parties process information about you, store it (including in countries that provide less protection for personal information than that provided under Israeli privacy protection laws), or share it with additional parties.

6. Do we track whether users open our emails? 

Our emails may contain a single “web beacon pixel” which enables us to verify whether our emails (and any links or advertisements within the email) are opened. We may use this information to determine whether our emails are of interest to Users, to approach Users who do not open our emails and verify whether they wish to continue receiving them and to inform our advertisers in aggregate of the audience size for their advertisements. Please note that such “web beacon pixel” will be deleted once you delete the email from your email account. If you do not wish the “web beacon pixel” to be downloaded to your device at all, please set your email account settings to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML. 

7. Can a User block Cookies? 

Some Cookies are essential for the operation and security of the Site, and by accessing and/or using the Site, you consent to the use of these essential cookies. Please note that without the use of essential cookies, we will not be able to allow you to access or use the Site.

In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on the Site or we will send you an e-mail regarding such changes (to the extent that you provided us with such e-mail address). Such material changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our Site or sent to you via e-mail, whichever is the earlier. Otherwise, all other changes to this Cookie Policy are effective as of the stated “Last Revised” and your continued use of the Site on or after the Last Revised date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes. In the event that the terms should be amended to comply with any legal requirements, the amendments may take effect immediately, or as required by the law and without any prior notice.
