We are proud to announce that Hush Security has emerged from stealth with an $8M seed round to tackle one of the most pressing and overlooked challenges in enterprise security: managing and securing the explosion of non-human identities (NHIs) and the secrets they use. These machine-to-machine credentials now underpin critical operations, yet remain one of the least visible and least controlled parts of modern infrastructure.
Hush was founded by Micha Rave (CEO), Shmulik Ladkani (CTO), Alon Horowitz (VP R&D) and Chen Nisnkorn (CCO), who have spent eight years collaborating, building, and scaling security products. They pioneered zero-trust access at Meta Networks, later acquired by Proofpoint, and bring deep expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and large-scale platforms. Their work with CISOs, CIOs and security architects as design partners ensured that Hush was built to meet the demands of complex enterprise environments from day one. From our first conversations with Micha, Shmulik, Alon and Chen, it was clear they had both the vision and the execution strength to lead in this space.
NHIs have become the silent backbone of enterprise systems. APIs, workloads, automated processes, and software services already outnumber human users many times over. They move at machine speed across multi-cloud environments, appear and disappear in milliseconds, and carry access privileges that can unlock critical systems. In most organizations, they operate without the oversight or controls long-established for human identities. Traditional identity security tools were never designed for this dynamic, short-lived credential use in runtime, leaving risk to grow with every new deployment.
Hush’s platform closes this gap. It delivers complete visibility into every secret an NHI uses, monitors them in real time, and automates the lifecycle from creation to revocation. This shifts NHI management from a manual, fragmented task to an integrated security function, reducing exposure, eliminating blind spots, and enabling teams to act on issues as they happen.
Managing all forms of credentials, not only human ones, represents a necessary step forward for the industry. Hush is setting a new standard for securing this growing, invisible workforce, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will make.
